Madman’s Party, choreographed by Hong Kong’s Mao Wei, is a bold dance performance that challenges this rigid idea of adulthood. Seven dancers bring everyday struggles to life through high-energy, expressive movement, capturing the contradictions of turning 30—lost yet determined, exhausted yet defiant.

Set against a backdrop of shifting lights and pulsating rhythms, the performance swings between childlike joy and raw frustration, asking: must growing up mean giving up?
