Flute: Katalin Kramarics

Katalin Kramarics, a brilliant flutist and winner of numerous international awards, will enchant the audience with her masterful performances on a gold flute. Accompanied by the dazzling pianist Jakub Cizmarovic, recognized as one of the brightest stars of the piano world, this concert promises to be an extraordinary musical feast. Expect a blend of European classical and romantic styles, including rare and breathtaking compositions.

Katalin Kramarics, born in Budapest in 1977, began her music education at the age of 12. After studying under renowned flutists across Europe, she went on to win first prizes at major competitions in Prague, Paris, Cremona, and Krakow. She was also awarded a prestigious two-year scholarship from the Munich Philharmonic Academy, marking the start of her professional orchestral career. As the Principal Flutist for the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra since 2002, Kramarics has performed with a variety of orchestras, including the Slovak Philharmonic and the Prague Symphony Orchestra. She is known for her dazzling flute solos, often touring in Japan and performing with the renowned flute maker, Pearl.

Piano: Jakub Cizmarovic

Jakub Cizmarovic, a finalist at prestigious international piano competitions such as the Berlin "Steinway Competition" and the Prague "Karl Czerny International Piano Competition," will accompany Kramarics. He has garnered praise for his performances at renowned festivals such as the Ravinia Music Festival in the U.S. and has collaborated with major orchestras including the Rotterdam Philharmonic. Cizmarovic’s performances are known for their brilliance, with his interpretation of classical piano works being widely acclaimed.
