Byron's style blends jazz, funk, and R&B, a fusion he honed playing in bars and clubs from the age of 13. He later pursued jazz piano studies at Howard University, where he also began producing music. His first major project was remixing Dru Hill’s Grammy-nominated hit In My Bed after graduating. Based in Shanghai since 2009, he has been a fixture in the city’s live music scene ever since.
