    Opened in 2012, Kachelofen is a German restaurant and brewpub hidden in a tranquil side-street in greater Hongqiao Hub area. They serve German staples like meatloaves with fried potatoes, sausage platters, the infamous pork knuckles, etc. The place has also got a TV and a tiny patio for some sunshine. A comfortable Sunday afternoon hang-out for those aspiring to escape the mumbo jumbo of their Villa compounds.
